we are now on phase III of the backyard. #1 was trees. #2 was installing the sprinklers and now #3 is laying 1 of the 2 flagstone patios that we’ll have out there.
We have some really great friends who came over and helped both weekend days. (skrappy and phrainq) Yay for the both of you.
It ended up taking much longer than that and I took Tuesday off to move nearly 2 tons of dirt from point A (the driveway) to point B (the backyard) and helped to finish laying the patio. Icey did all of the real work. Flagstone is HEAVY. he moved pallet after pallet nearly alone because if you haven’t heard, flagstone is HEAVY. but as of Wednesday it’s 90% completed.
I hope you boys are ready because in a few weeks, we’re on to patio #2. Patio #2 will go where the big hole is. Everyone knows I secretly love the sedan sized hole in my backyard, so I’m really glad we’re utilizing it.
