halp sick
as of right this very second i might be sick. or it might be some srs allergies. i’m hoping it’s allergies. either way i am drugged the eff up right now and nothing is helping. my nose is killing me, someone bring me lotiony tissues.
Icey was away all weekend doing some techy geek type stuff. the last time he was gone it was for a week, but it was during the week and i had work to keep me occupied. this time it was a weekend, the only time I really spend with him and i was SO SAD he was gone. But now he’s back and he’s upstairs and i’m downstairs and we’re emailing each other, so it’s all good.
this morning i baked him oatmeal blueberry (instead of raisin) cookies, his idea. and they are tasty. i’m pretty sure than anything you would put into your breakfast oatmeal can transfer into a cookie.
this week will be a busy one. I have two doctors appts and on thursday we’re getting a new meter put on the house. the one we had apparently pulled away from the house and blah blah blah it wasn’t working so we’re going to have to repair that ourselves. i assumed since the meter belonged to the electric company they’d put a new one on but that is so not the case. you buy the meter when you buy the house. (i would choose not to buy a new meter because i don’t want one) so then, $2800 later we’re getting that taken care of on Thurs.
and do not even get me started on SRP and their top notch billing system. Surepay’s advantage is that you will know what you are paying each month. unless you are us, then some months you’ll pay one amount and then other months you’ll pay some new random amount. and also if you are us then one day your surepay will quadruple to $550 per month as if you live in a mansion and then they’ll charge you that TWICE in the span of 13 days. because you know, i have $4000 to drop on srp in one month. you don’t like your cable or phone company you can switch, but you have one option for electricity and that blows. anyway, it should all be taken care of now. don’t even get me started on the fact that they took $1100 from me in THIRTEEN DAYS.
again. odd year.
